Berg Castle | Visitors are welcome to enjoy the castle gardens as well as the votive chapel and memorial cross dedicated to King Ludwig II on the lake shore. The castle itself is privately owned and unfortunately cannot be visited. |
Possenhofen Castle | The stately residence in which Empress Elisabeth ("Sisi") spent the summers of her youth is spectacular but privately owned and can therefore only be viewed from the outside. |
Starnberg Castle | Now that it is occupied by the local tax authority, visitors can only view Starnberg Castle from the footpath but are welcome to walk in the ornamental garden. |
